This chart represents the organization
based on the 2005 opening rosters for the full season teams. Some players weren't
on any roster at the start of the season because they were hurt or suspended. I've
included those players at the level where they were expected to be assigned. In some
cases, players were assigned to teams because of temporary openings and were likely
to return to another team shortly. I've included them with the team to which I think
they'll ultimately be assigned, once the injured or suspended player returns. I won't
try to keep this up to date during the season, except to reflect players leaving or
joining the organization, and also when the short season teams begin play. Other
than that it represents only the situation at the beginning of the season.
Some players may not appear on this chart at all. If so, it's because they haven't
appeared on any roster and I don't know their status. If you're looking for a particular
player who's not here, he should be in the positional listings if he's still in the
organization . . . or if he's not and I don't know it yet.
Players in bold are the ones I think are at least marginal prospects.
