Who is God and who is the Messiah?

What is His name, and the name of His son? Tell me if you know. (Proverbs 30:4)

Introduction:

This has got to be one of the most heated and controversial discussions ever brought forth. We as people hate change and nor after growing up in the same churches from youth are we willing to except anything that seems different.  Everyone has leaned on and trusted the traditional Bible so long that they are afraid to believe any other writings than that which have been given within the traditional Bible.  This has brought a lot of error and a halt to the growth of the churches.  I as a believer started my search and studies from thirteen years of age and on until now at the age of thirty-six.  The year to this date is 2002.  My search was started when at the age of twelve the summer before I turned thirteen I had lost a good friend who was killed while riding his bike down a street.  This pushed me into a very serious search for this God who I knew I would see some day.  I figured that if my friend died whom I was so close to then I knew it could happen to me, and I did not want to take any chance in meeting God without being right with him.  My grandmother when I was young was the one who inspired me to seek God somewhat.  She had prayed with me all the time and took me to church with her to Bible school when I was real little.  I figure she is the reason there was some type of faith installed in me when I was young.  My parents had no interest in church at all.  I had started taking myself to church with no help from them at the age of thirteen.  Well, I had raised myself up in the Church of Christ up until I was 21 years of age, which was a big turning point for me.  I had so many questions when I was in the Church of Christ.  When I asked questions no one had biblical answers for me, only empty philosophy.  The most important question that had brought me to a greater light was the question about the Holy Spirit.  Of course if you know anything about the Churches of Christ they never speak on the subject unless it is to prove the idea that miracles are no longer happening as the days of old.  Well, I was about to find out different in the first year at Abilene Christian University in Abilene, Texas.  I had enrolled in college there and finished out the year, and do to finances I had to leave.  During my stay there I met this group of people within the school who would always talk about the Holy Spirit and miracles, and of course me not believing these things still happening I kind of dodged these people like the plague.  But, for some reason these Bible thumpers would not leave me alone for one moment it seemed like.  Then finally one day I had reached the bottom of the line where I had to look up and finally reach out to God with all my heart for his help.  The pain I was suffering from loneliness, and hurt through the years of parent’s divorce, friend’s death, and my mother leaving us children, and the last thing that brought me to this low time in my life was my good girl friend turning against me.  I ran into one of these Bible thumpers at this time in my life.  I knew how he had always shown me and tried to teach me that this Holy Spirit could save me from the pain of my soul.  And when I saw him walk past me in the moment of hurt with tears in my eyes from all the pain being brought up to me all at once from the years past, I grabbed his arm and asked him if he could pray for me.  He walked with me to a quiet place there at the school and he prayed for me with great faith.  I had never heard anything like it.  I can remember that day as if it was yesterday and with tears my heart still gives thanks to this man.  After this prayer never had I tasted such peace and power in all my life.  I had received the Holy Spirit for the first time.  I never knew how real my God was until that day.  All my pain and sorrows my Savior took from me.  Which shows me to this day that God meets a person where they are at even if they know nothing.  He does not ask us to know everything before he touches us, but he does ask us to continue to grow in His truth.  The love I found in my heart lead me to minister to so many people.  I changed many of people’s lives just as that young man had changed mine with a simple prayer of faith.  I never knew what the future would hold, but now I see all the things that God has lead me to understand through the years.  I am now going to share one of the many things that I have learned through many hours of study and research that the Holy Spirit has lead me to.  I hope whoever is reading this finds the truth they are looking for within this pamphlet.  There are a lot of unanswered questions yet to be revealed, but just as written: “Ask and you shall find.  Knock and the door shall be opened.”  May the God of truth forever bless all who search for him in righteousness.

In the name of the great King Immanuel,

David Tobey

Chapter 1            History of the translation of the Bible

First in the history of the translation of the Bible one can see some very interesting things that might cause a person to doubt anything the Bible would teach.  This is not my goal, but to prove the few errors of the translations and bring forth the truth unto listening ears. The chart above shows that the Codex’s were translated from the originals. The Codex’s are the latest translations we have left. It is sad to say but all originals were destroyed.  The originals are nowhere to be found.  The question is: “Who were these translators?” Believe it or not, all translations derived from men affiliated with the Roman Catholic Church.  Now study closely the chart above and keep in mind the different translations when studying the rest of this pamphlet.

Chapter 2            Abbreviations of our Messiah’s Name Found in the Early Greek

When translating from the originals to the Greek, the early translators lacked clarity when dealing with the name of the Messiah.  Now look at this clipping Ancient Codex Abbreviation.  Here the clipping from one of the Codex’s show how the name was abbreviated with over-lined letters.  There is a slash above the letters that look something like this: IN or IC with a line across the top of the abbreviations. See picture again at Ancient Codex Abbreviation.  These are simple abbreviations of the Messiah’s name and title that were used instead of spelling out the name every time by the translators.  My question here is: “How do we know the Messiah’s name by these abbreviations above?”  We don’t know except through other means of study.  We have just come to accept the name that is given in our English Bibles.  The next question is why did they use different abbreviations for the same name, when every other time they abbreviated a name the translators usually used the same abbreviation?  Looking at the one abbreviation ‘IN’ above appears out of place because it has no connections to any of the other abbreviations or names used when referencing the Messiah.  To make clear the abbreviations previously shown when ‘IC’ is shown in Greek it is translated into English as ‘IS’.  Why were ‘IN’ and ‘IS’ used interchangeably through out the Codex’s?  The most suitable answer for this would have been that when mentioning the name Immanuel they used the abbreviations ‘IN’, but when mentioning his title they used ‘IS’.  Why would ‘IS’ have been used?  The answer to this is easy.  The Messiah over and over was known as the Anointed Savior throughout the scriptures.  The Hebrew word for Savior or that is salvation is Yasha.  The two Hebrew consonants in Yasha would have been a ‘Y’ and ‘S’.  When abbreviated it would have been ‘YS’.  When these two consonants are translated into Greek it would have been ‘IC’.  A ‘Y’ in Hebrew was always translated into an ‘I’ in Greek and the ‘S’ would have been translated into a ‘C’ in Greek.  An ‘IL’ could not have been used because it was the abbreviation for Israel so the next to the last consonant in the name would have been used for the second letter of the abbreviation.  His title would have been Savior and his name Immanuel.  The only time a ‘N’ is used in any name of the Messiah is when they mention ‘IMMANUEL’.  There is a ‘N’ in the name here.  As for the title Jesus there is no ‘N’.  Now the other abbreviation would follow the name JESUS.  But, when broken down one can see where the name JESUS truly derived from and why the abbreviations were used as they were.  Look at the Jesus means savior and Yasha in Strongs clippings.  These clippings clearly show that the name JESUS originally meant Savior or salvation, which is a title, not a name.  The Hebrew word for Savior is Yasha.  Look at the break down on Jesus means savior to see how the name JESUS came about.  According to prophecy and the Codex’s there is no way, form, or fashion that the name of our Messiah could have ever been called JESUS.  First look at the clipping on Ancient Greek Codex so you can get a picture of what the first Greek manuscripts looked like and how the name of our Messiah was abbreviated.  Never once was the name of our Messiah ever spelled out in the original Codex’s except once and that was in Math. 1: 22-23.  This is the only place ever in any Bible that can be backed up both by prophecy and the oldest writings we have.  In Isa. 7:14 it is written, “Therefore Yahweh himself will give you a sign: The virgin shall be with child and will give birth to a son, and will call him Immanuel.” My question here is, “Why then is there only one time in all of the New Testament he is ever called Immanuel?” And yet in Math. 1:22 says clearly that this was all done to fulfill what the prophet had said.  Which prophet? The prophet Isaiah in Isa. 7:14.  Then in Isa. 8:20 it says; “To the law and the testimony! (This word in Hebrew means the attestation of the prophets) If they speak not according to this word, they have no light in them.” Now look at Math. 1:21.  It says that they called him JESUS.  How does calling him JESUS fulfill the prophecy according to the prophet Isaiah that is spoken right after this.  It does not fulfill the prophecy at all.  And according to Isaiah if it does not speak according to the words he was given therefore there is no light in them.  Either the prophet Isaiah was a liar or the translators of our manuscripts were liars.

Now going with the point mentioned in previous pages it will be proven according to various trustworthy books that the translators have made serious mistakes by taking our Messiah’s name and our Heavenly Father’s name out of the scriptures and replacing them with titles.  I will give you an idea what I mean by titles.  Titles are such as these: God, Lord, Ruler, Master, Savior, Counselor, but are never used as personal names.  Go to KJV Bible Dictionary and see the dictionary clipping taken out of the King James Bible.  This shows clearly how the name of our God was taken out of the scriptures and titles were put in its place.  This is the first step to proving the point made above how our Messiah’s name and our God’s name were both taken out of the scriptures.  The clipping on KJV Bible Dictionary is enough evidence for the Heavenly Father’s name, but as for the Messiah’s name it is a little bit more difficult, but can be done.  Follow closely with the next proofs.  Look at Ancient Greek Codex for the example of an original Codex.  This page is from the Codex Sinaiticus Luke 19:13-48.  Look at the underlined words.  These abbreviations are the places the Messiah’s name was suppose to have been placed.

Chapter 3            Hebrew Translation of the Name Jesus

Above is a clipping from the Strong’s Concordance showing the title Yasha and the meaning of it.  The Hebrew translators later added a ‘H’ and ‘U’ making it Yahshua, which first began as a name, not a title.  And this was a name of a prophet before our Messiah.  Yet we are told in Philippians 2:9 our Messiah would have a name that is above all names.  So my question is why then did they or why didn’t the translators call the Messiah Joshua (this is the English transliteration of the name Yahshua) which is the name that is used in Hebrew for the Messiah?

Now lets see how the Greek translations proves that JESUS derived from the Hebrew word Yasha and not Yahshua.  The truer form of the name Joshua in Hebrew would have been Yehowshuwa.  The Greek word that was used for Jesus in the newer Greek translations is Iesous.  The first letter has always been translated as a ‘J’ in English and a ‘Y’ in Hebrew.  There was no such a thing as vowel points in the original Hebrew so the next letter used would been the ‘S’ which in Hebrew is a ‘SH’ or that is a ‘Shiyn’.  So now you have the ‘Yod’ and the ‘Shiyn’ which are the two Hebrew letters in the title ‘Yasha’ which means savior or deliverer.  Look at the following chart on Greek Alphabet provided and one can see how even the name Iesous when translated back into Hebrew only leaves the ‘Yod’ and the ‘Shiyn’.  Now if it would have been the name Joshua or that is Yahshua there would have been a ‘Heth’ added in the name or that is an ‘H’.  To get a better idea of how the Greek is translated to Hebrew or visa versa look at the table on Greek Alphabet again.  (Note: When looking at the chart below on Greek Alphabet keep in mind what was previously shown about the abbreviations in Greek for the messiah being “IC”.  Look up these two letters on the left in the Greek and follow over to the right to the Hebrew.  In this chart it shows you the English pronunciation as well to help guide those who do not understand much Hebrew or Greek.)

The clipping on Iasius in Mythology Dictionary below is from a mythological dictionary showing the relevance of the previous statements.  Look where it shows in brackets ( ) that the name Jesus means savior.  Also notice where they give different variations of the name and one can see all that has been mentioned in this pamphlet is not just something made up or construed.  This among many other books proves over and over the facts being presented in this pamphlet.  These are just simple mistakes that have been made through the years of retranslating and the incapability of the translators to be honest in bringing forth the truth rather than error because of the fear of the leaders over them in their time of translation.  Take into account that the translators hundreds of years ago could have been put to death at the drop of a pen if not done as told.

Here is the break down of the name Jesus:

1)       Jesus

2)       Yeshus

3)       Yeshu

4)       Yasha or Yesha

Looking at the clipping below shows the different variations of the name Jesus and again proving previous statements showing that Jesus originally was a title that means Savior.  This is a clipping from The Dictionary of Mythology Folklore and Symbols found at the Abilene Christian University Library in Abilene, TX.

Note: The abbreviations that were over-lined by the translators are underlined.

First keep in mind the statement that is being made here: “The name of the Messiah is not JESUS, Yahshua, Yeshua, or any other name but Immanuel.”  Why is this the case?  Because Isa. 7:14 says that his name would be called Immanuel.   And according to Isa. 8:20: “If they speak not according to the law and the testimony (this word in Hebrew means the attestation of the prophets according to Strong’s Concordance) there is no light in them.”  It is written in Acts 4:12; “(12) Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to men by which we must be saved.”  If what is being said in this study is true then most of the Christians in this world are trusting in a name that cannot save. Now taking into consideration that our scriptures are tampered with.  Can we believe that his name is JESUS, YAHSHUA, or any other name but IMMANUEL?  I would think not.  But this statement is only based on a few things for now.  So let’s go on.  Now look at the clipping below.  This came out of the 1602 copy of the Geneva Bible.  Look at #2 below on Geneva Bible and you will see that ‘Iesus’ should have been written as ‘Savior’.  Therefore ‘Jesus Christ’ simply started out as a title that simply meant ‘Anointed Savior’.  Christ means ‘anointed’ and ‘Jesus’ simply should have been ‘Savior’.  Neither one of these were ever meant to be a personal name.  This is why most of the Messianic Jews call him ‘Yahshua’.  The Hebrew word ‘Yasha’ is a title or more often used as a word and the Hebrew word ‘Yahshua’ is a name.  This is an easy mistake, but not if you know the prophecies.

Now lets look at another clipping to back up previous statement.  Look at the clipping Latin Dictionary. This next clipping came from a Latin dictionary, which also backs up the previous point made: “ ‘Jesus Christ’ was a title rather than a name”.  ‘Jesus Christ’ was an idiom or that is an ID established for ‘Anointed Savior’.  The clip below shows that ‘Jesus Christ’ was a universal idiom or an ID established for the Latin words ‘Christus Salvator’ which simply meant Anointed Savior.  So in return the translators did away with the prophesied name of the Savior in Math. 1:22-23 and Isa. 7:14.  By doing this the truth of our prophesied savior and the power of His name has been hidden from us for over a thousand years.

Chapter 4               New Greek Translations Defiled

Now lets look how the newer Greek translations are defiled.  As one can see below the name Iasius was a pagan god.  The dictionary clipping below came out of a Latin dictionary.  The question here is, “Then why is this name used in the Greek for our Savior’s name?”  The question is easily answered.  Roman Catholic Church  has infiltrated into the churches a lot of pagan ways of worship and have changed the scriptures for their own selfish gain.  Rome had alot of false gods that they worshiped and Iasius as seen below in the clipping Iasius in the Latin Dictionary is only one of the many.  These facts and more can be proven through the study of the Roman Catholic Church History in just about any Encyclopedia.

Now look at this next clipping and you will also see from a mythological dictionary that came out of the Abilene Christian University in Abilene, Texas library that the name used in the Greek for our Messiah was a pagan god.  Iasius, Iasus, or Iesus is the name of a Greek pagan god.

Chapter 5                     Closing Arguments

Now lets take a look at all that has been shown in the previous pages.  First, one would need to ask themselves, “If the translators were willing to leave out the name of the Heavenly Father, then how can we trust everything that is written?”  The point here made is, “The originals did not find it wrong to put the Heavenly Father’s name in them.”  Do we think that we are more holy than the apostles who originally wrote the scriptures and who put His name in them?  This is arrogance in and of itself.  Secondly, why ignore the facts about the names?  Thirdly, what effects does this have on the understanding of truth?  Fourthly, does this have any affect on one’s salvation? Lets look at scriptural proof now to answer these questions.  We know that by the scriptures there is only one name under heaven by which we must be saved.  (Acts 4:12) It is also written in the Old Testament and New Testament that we are to call on the Heavenly Father’s name to be saved.  (Romans 10:13, Joel 2:32)  Romans 10:13 is a direct quote from Joel 2:32.  The Hebrew reads, “And everyone who calls on the name of Yahweh will be saved.”  You can see here that "Lord" should have been read as Yahweh according to the King James dictionary that was shown earlier on in this pamphlet.  This is where all errors start.  When the names are not placed correctly in the scriptures one can never know which Lord it is talking about.  Therefore the error that the Father and Son are both the same person is then easy to believe.  With the facts provided it is clearly shown how this could never be, and how it is total idolatry in the eyes of our God.  The question here is how are we to ask things from Yahweh?  This is easily answered in a few verses of the Bible.  Look at these: John 16:23, John 15:16.  These two scriptures are enough for now to show how we must pray to the Father in the name of His Son. Now many questions arise whether or not the Father and Son is the same person.  I will show how this can not be and is a great deception that leads the whole world astray.  This breaks the first commandment: “I am Yahweh your God, who brought you out of Egypt, out of the land of slavery.  You shall have no other gods besides me.” (Exodus 20:2-3)  To say that JESUS, YAHSHUA, IMMANUEL, or any other is God breaks the first commandment and commits idolatry.  There are only a few scriptures that have been mistranslated to believe that the Messiah is God, and there are some that many misunderstand.  The arguments that are given against what is being said here are as follow:

1)

 (Q) Why then in Isa. 9:6 does it say that the Messiah would be called Mighty God?

(A)    This is a simple answer.  The true translation of this scripture should have read, “And he would be called Wonderful Counselor of the Almighty God the Everlasting Father, and the Prince of Peace.”

2)

 (Q) Why then did the Messiah say he was the I AM in Mark 14:62?

(A)    This should have been written, “…Truly, truly, I say to you, Before Abraham receives being, I am to exist.” Look at proofs below.  The clip below shows two separate words for ‘I AM’.

Look below where it is labeled 1473/1510 in the I am that I am clipping below.  The Strongs #1473 alone simply means ‘I AM’.  But, this leaves out the Strongs #1510 which means ‘to exist’.  The word that means “to exist” was simply left out.  By the clipping above it is written as if one word meant ‘I’ and the other ‘AM’.  Look at the two clippings on the next page and see this could have never been.

Here is Strong #1473:

Here is Strongs #1510:

3) (Q) Then why in Romans 9:5 does it say that Christ is God? Look carefully below at the next clipping to see this error.

(A)
In the true translation of this scripture never did it ever call Christ God. The true translation read as such: “Theirs are the patriarchs, and from them is traced the human ancestry of Christ, who is God blessed forever.” (This could have also been translated as, “….blessed by God forever.”) To say such a thing as Christ being God is idolatry. For it breaks the first commandment, “I am Yahweh your God, who brought you out of Egypt, out of the land of slavery. You shall have no other gods before me.” How can we go on in such evil? As is written; “That men may know that thou, whose name alone is JEHOVAH, art the most high over all the earth.” Psalms 83:18 KJV The above translation is directly from the King James Version of the Bible. Why they put JEHOVAH in this one place and not in every other place where it was suppose to be one may never know? Even though the name JEHOVAH is not a true translation of the name in the first place, it stands for the point being proven that there is only one God and his name is Yahweh. The translation of the name Jehovah did not come about until the year of (1270) which was found in Raymond Martin’s Pugeo Fidei. This pronunciation derived from a German dialect. There was never such a thing as a ‘J’ in the Hebrew language, and in German the ‘J’ is pronounced as a ‘Y’. The ‘V’ in the German language is pronounced as a ‘W’. So if you were going to pronounce the name ‘JEHOVAH’ in the German language it would look something like this to us ‘Yehowah’. This would be the more correct way of pronouncing the name of our God. To sum up what was just said. There is only one God whose name is Yahweh and one Son whose name is Immanuel according to the prophets. Here is a clipping from the retranslated Codex, which shows that the above statement is true about Romans 9:5: This is only one scripture out of all the New Testament that says, “Jesus is God”. Remember the Messiah is the Son of God not God.

4) (Q) Then why does it say that Christ was the word made flesh and the word was God from the beginning in John 1:1? This is a very misunderstood scripture.

Lets break this scripture down. Look below:

1) In the beginning was the Word and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2) The same was in the beginning with God. 3) All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made. 4) In him was life; and the life was the light of men. 5) And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not. 6) There was a man sent from God, whose name was John. 7) The same came for a witness, to bear witness of the Light, that all men through him might believe. 8) He was not that Light, but was sent to bear witness of that Light. 9) That was the true Light, which lighteth every man that cometh into the world. 10) He was in the world, and the world was made by him, and the world knew him not. 11) He came unto his own, and his own received him not. 12) But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name: 13) Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God. 14) And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth.

(A)    First, keep in mind that the Son is not God. If that were the case then he would not have to hand the kingdom back over to his Father after everything is done.  Remember the scripture in 1 Cor. 15:24.  This is the scripture that shows the Son has to hand the kingdom back over to the Father. Now if he were God he would not have to do this.  Now knowing this lets look at the scripture above.  The scripture above is talking about God until verse 13.  Not anywhere above does it ever speak of the Messiah until verse 13 where the word is finally made flesh.  Verse 11 shows that God came to his own and was not received by his own.  He simply lived in His son by the Holy Spirit and His word just as he is supposed to live in each and every one of us.  Then in verse 12 it clearly shows that the word is what gives all of us the power to become sons of God that believe on God's name.  We are all sons and daughters of God who come to believe on God’s name, which was proven easily to be Yahweh.  We are born through the will of God.  Now in verse 14 it shows how the Word became flesh.  This is where the Messiah is first spoken of. Now how is this explained?  Very easily.  The Messiah was the first to be born of God through the word.  As was mentioned in verse 12 he became a Son just as any of us become a Son or daughter and that is through the Word of God.  Therefore we also when born of God become a light set on a hill.  The Messiah himself speaks to his disciples on the mountainside in Mathew 5:14 saying they are the light of the world.  Now wait a minute!!  I thought the Messiah was the light of the world as John 1:7 says.  I use an argument here to help one understand how ridiculous this sounds.  We are all the light of the world.  As many that have come to believe in the Name of God have been given the power to become sons of God as verse 12 says.  For the Messiah was the first who had never sinned and was obedient unto death that he may bring us unto the marvelous light of the Father by example.

As is written in Hebrew 5:8-9: (8) Though he were a Son, yet learned he obedience by the things which he suffered; (9) And being made perfect, he became the author of eternal salvation unto all them that obey him;

If the Messiah was God then how come did he have to be made perfect through suffering and learn obedience as a Son? Therefore he could have never been God because God is our Father and a father has to teach his son. If he were God he would have never had to learn to be perfect. He would have been perfect from day one. But, as the case stands he learned through suffering and was made perfect through suffering. That rules out that he was God. So now lets follow the author of our faith and be obedient even if it were to death as our Savior. He was our example. So lets follow our Messiah to that cross and sacrifice the flesh that we may be obedient unto the Spirit placed within us, and become children of the Great God who’s name is Yahweh. What did the Messiah teach us by His death? He taught us to forgive those who sin against us, and to be obedient, or that is faithful, that our sins may be atoned for.

As is written in Prov. 16:6, “Through love and faithfulness sin is atoned for; through the fear of Yahweh a man avoids evil."

Just because we believe we don’t receive forgiveness.  As is written in James 2:19 that the Demons believe and shutter.  So to look at the beginning question again; “Why did it then say the word became flesh?”  This is a simple answer: “The Messiah simply was obedient unto the word placed in his heart.  Never once did he disobey his Father in heaven.”  For this very reason is why he is our Ruler unto this day to the glory of Yahweh our God and Father. So when John said the word became flesh he was actually saying what the Messiah said himself in John 5:19 “…I only do as I see my Father doing.”  Read John 5:19-24 and one will see what was meant when it said the word became flesh.  Yahweh our God simply lived in the Messiah by his spirit. Just as God will do through us if we are obedient unto Him The Messiah also said in John 5:30 “By myself I can do nothing;….”  So here he shows once again how he is under God and apart from Him he can do nothing,  just as we can’t do anything apart from our God and Father who’s name is Yahweh.

  5) (Q) Why then does it say in John 10:30, “I and the Father are one”?

(A) This is simply answered.  It is also written in John 17:11 “…..so they may be one as we are one.”  Now wait a minute here. What does this mean?  I guess we are all the same person who believe in Christ because we are all one.  I am saying this only as a pun.  The only way God and the Messiah are one is through the spirit just as we as believers are all one.  When a man and his wife are married then they become one.  This does not mean they are the same person.  The pagan teachings that Jesus is God have corrupted the Church and caused the Churches to worship a God that is made up which is no God at all. There are two God’s that can be seen when looked carefully at.  One is false and the other is true.  Look below and chose for yourself:

A)      What this God is according to popular belief of the Churches false teachings: He formed a body for himself on earth so he can live among people.  He often prayed to himself.  He pretended to be the Son while here on the earth leaving heaven empty, and while he was here on this earth he was so busy living in a body trying to convince the people of himself that he couldn’t take care of other matters.  Often he talked to himself to convince himself to forgive the people only to be an example to others how to pray to himself.  He placed himself upon the cross only so he can prove to the world that he is willing to suffer for them so they may know he loves them.  He was confused whether or not he should do away with the law while telling everyone he didn’t come to do away with the law. (Math.5:17-20)  His disciples were confused about everything when pertaining to the law whether or not it should be kept or whether it should be ignored, and many other strange ideas.  He has many names even if they are titles.  No one can learn who he is, because there are no words to explain who he is, therefore we can not be like our Father nor can we even come to know him.  He goes by a different name here on earth while he wares a different one in heaven, and along with these two names He hasn’t really figured out what he really wants to be called by.  He allows himself to be called elohim (elohim is a plural word in Hebrew) because that way it covers all the Gods that he is.

B)      The true God is this: He formed a body in Mary’s womb by his Holy Spirit just as he formed Adam, that would become the Son of God through obedience unto the Spirit placed within him, which is the word of God.  He has one name as given to Moses on the mountain and has many titles.  He was able to convince the people that he was God through the words of His Son.  He sacrificed His Son for the sake of the world, just as the example he gave through Abraham when he went to sacrifice his first born.  He lived in His Son by the Holy Spirit to bring people to know Him by what his Son said and did.  Never ever did He once do away with His law, but only expounded it, and brought clearer meaning to what the law meant through His Son.  His Son’s disciple’s teachings were hard to understand when pertaining to the law. (2 Peter 3:14-16)  This God’s name is Yahweh as mentioned to Moses on the mountain. (Ex. 3:15 Note: Remember that where you see the title Lord here should have read Yahweh and His title (memorial) was the ‘I AM that I AM’.  The Hebrew word for ‘I AM’ and the Hebrew word ‘Yahweh’ are two different words.)  We can come to know our God by obeying His teachings, laws, and commandments. (1 John 2:3)

  6) (Q) How come did it say then in John 14:9 that if anyone that has seen the Messiah has seen the Father?

(A)    Because just as was said before, “The Messiah does as he sees his heavenly Father doing.” (John 5:19 “…I only do as I see my Father doing.”)  It was also said in John 14:20, “At that day you shall know that I am in my Father, and you in me, and I in you.”  So what does this mean?  We are all inside each other?  So we are all one and the same person?  Again I say this as a pun to make one understand how ridiculous it is to say the Messiah is God, and this is because of the misunderstood teachings and sayings of our Savior.  Now lets go on to maturity and lay behind us these ridiculous sayings that Jesus is God, or any other is God besides the one and only Yahweh.  As is written time and time again there is only one God. (Romans 3:30, 1 Cor. 8:4 and verse 6, Gal. 3:20, James 2:19)  The only God ever said we are to worship is Yahweh (Ex. 20:2-3 Note: remember too according to the King James dictionary in the back that Yahweh’s name was suppose to be there.)

May Yahweh our God and Father forever bless all of those who come to know Him through the Great King Immanuel,

David Tobey
