Welcome to my gaming page!  Below you will find a list of games I am interested in buying or trading for, as well as a list of a few I have available for sale or trade.  Some interesting links will follow, including some to computer games sites.

GAMES WANTED:  the following games do not necessarily have to be in "mint" unpunched shape.  A good playing copy is all I really want, but I do want games that are complete with all components in good or better shape (including the box).  I'm generally interested in American Civil War games and Ancient/Medieval games by all publishers.  I'm willing to buy or trade for the following:

Help! PARTS NEEDED for Dawn of the Dead (SPI) - one character counter (Steve), a few markers, Great Medieval Battles (SPI) - historical commentary booklet, and Sink the Bismarck (WWW) - counter for the BB Revenge. If you have any extra or spare parts to these games, please let me know.

Note:  any game listed as mint or near mint is unpunched.  Punched games run from excellent on down.

Avalon Hill: 

• Attack Sub (boxed, excellent) -- simple, fun card game of sub vs. aircraft and ship combat
• Bitter Woods (boxed, near mint) -- the Battle of the Bulge, 1st ed.
• Monsters Ravage America (boxed, excellent) -- tongue-in-cheek game of monsters stomping US cities while the military tries to stop them
• Panzer Leader (boxed, excellent, a few missing counters)
• Starship Troopers (boxed, excellent, punched, # of counters unverified, lots of 'em)
• Successors (boxed, near mint) -- out of print and valuable, I would be willing to deal this away for an offer "too good to refuse."
• We the People (boxed excellent) -- classic board and card game in great shape

Battleline:

• Alpha Omega (boxed, excellent condition)

Columbia Games:

• Victory: The Blocks of War (box in excellent shape, contents near mint...blocks unused, stickers still mint. Contains original 4 maps plus 6 add-on maps, #5-10).

Decision Games: (I have a few other S&T's in the upper 100's that I might be willing to part with)

• S&T #142 Tarawa: Red Beach One (excellent, unpunched)

Flying Buffalo:

• Nuclear Proliferation (boxed...I have one copy in good condition and one in excellent condition) -- fun, simple, wild multiplayer card game...

Excalibre:

• Ironclads Expansion Set (boxed, mint)

GMT:

• Paths of Glory 1st ed. + Update Kit + Player's Guide (boxed, near mint) -- I might be willing to part with this classic, out-of-print GMT title for an offer "to good to refuse."

I.C.E.:

• Middle Earth CCG -- I've got one set of both Balrog decks, and quite a few The Wizards Unlimited rares, many of which I'd be willing to sell. I have a couple of extras of The One Ring, which seems to be a popular card. Please email me for a list of available cards. $4 minimum order on singles, please. I have a few extra rares from pretty much all sets, inc. about 30 from the hard-to-find The Lidless Eye set. So, please email me a list of what you are looking for...

Last Unicorn:

• Star Trek: Red Alert flats -- (various, inc. some rares)

Metagaming -- from their Micro line of games...almost all gone now

• G.E.V. (plastic bagged, punched, excellent shape)
• WARP WAR (small cardboard box has been crushed and has some wear, components very good to excellent but only 34 of (I think) 42 ship counters) -- would be good for parts. The map, especially is in real nice shape.

SPI:  (I have MANY SPI games that I will probably gradually sell off, as well as many S&Ts, Moves, catalogs, etc. from circa 1975-1981). Here is a small sampling, including volumes 1, 2, 3, 5, and 6 of the GBACW series...all unpunched!

• Across Suez (boxed, excellent) -- nice little starter game! Small map, relatively few units. Uderrated game.
• Drive on Washington (boxed, excellent unpunched) -- vol. 2 of the GBACW series.
• Firefight (flat tray, good, probably missing a few counters) -- 1st edition of tactical ground combat in late 70's -- early 80's.
• Island War -- 3 of the 4 games in folio format: Bloody Ridge, Leyte, and Okinawa (all very good to excellent, 2 Leyte counters missing)
• Jackson at the Crossroads/Battle of Corinth (boxed, excellent, components near mint) -- double game from the GBACW series, volumes 5 & 6..
• Modern Battles folio games Mukden and Wurzburg (very good)
• Pea Ridge (boxed, excellent unpunched) -- vol. 1 of the GBACW series, following TSS, Bloody April, and Stonewall)
• Tito (boxed, near mint)
• Wilson's Creek (boxed, excellent unpunched) -- vol. 3 of the GBACW series

SPI/TSR: 

• DragonQuest 3rd edition rule book! (near mint to mint shape)

Steve Jackson/Steve Jackson Games:

• Car Wars stuff. I've got the original plastic box game, the Crash City small box set, the Deluxe Edition set and some extras. Email for details.
• Car Wars The Card Game (excellent, only played once) -- simple card game loosely based on the original. Pretty light game, but fun.
• DELUXE G.E.V. -- still in shrinkwrap, this retails at $59.95 and includes 46 metal miniatures, a big 32"x38" map, 3 plastic VHS-style storage boxes, box labels, rules.
• GURPS booklets, inc. Space Adventures, Space Atlas, Space GM Pack, Vikings, Fantasy, etc.
• OGRE/G.E.V. (the new rerelease of these 2 gems...excellent shape, complete and unpunched in the plastic box)

Supremacy Games: add-ons for the Supremacy Game. All previous stuff sold, but here are some new listings:

• Sold as a big package only: Supremacy in excellent shape, Neutron Bombs and Killer Satellites, Warlords and Pirates of the Neutral Zone, and Fortuna (all used but in very good to excellent shape), the Commander-in-Chief's rule book to Mega Supremacy (new, slight shelfwear), and Boomers and Tanks (both opened but near mint with plastic parts still sealed in plastic bags).

3W: 

• Forward to Richmond (boxed, excellent unpunched) -- mounted maps and includes the 2nd Edition Supplement.!

XENO:

• Alexander's Generals (boxed, near mint) -- strategic game of the Successor's period following Alexander the Great's death.

XTR: a few copies of Command magazine with games (excellent, near mint): I have quite a few others which I'm willing to sell, so if there is an issue with game that you are looking for, email me and I may have it.

• #49 Waterloo: Retreat to Victory w/ (the infamous) Warmaster Chess 2000 game (excellent, unpunched)

Here are some good sites selling boardgames.   Note -- shop around for the best prices on games. Prices on some games vary greatly from site to site.  Caveat emptor!

Ebay's Games (in Toys and Hobbies) Auction page - Check frequently for auctions of games.  Most auctions run for 7 days.  Occasional gems/bargains can be found, but also beware bidding wars where some stuff sells for ridiculously overinflated prices.  Be sure to use the Ending Today option for last-minute bidding.  Also, the rec.games.board.marketplace newsgroup has many auctions and sales of games.

Boulder Games -- a great source for currently in-print games. Nice discounts close to prepub prices...

Fine Games - Good source for games, sometimes out-of-print stuff.  Shipping can be pricey.

Weekend Warrior - Another good source for out-of-print SPI stuff.  A bit pricey on some games, but has many.  The SPI pages haven't been updated in some time, so tough to tell what they still have available.

Le Valet d'Coeur - Canadian site with a good stock of both current and out-of-print stuff.

Sentry Box - Another good Canadian site stocking a wide variety of game publishers.

Web-Grognards - A terrific site for wargame related materials and links. A must see!

ConsimWorld (formerly Virtual Wargamers HQ) - A good discussion-related site with links to many current wargame companies.  Some 4000+ wargamers are registered users here!  Can be hard to get connected and is slow at times...

GMT Games - Arguably the top wargame publisher today, heir to the SPI throne, notably for the Great Battles of History series.  Very nice site.  

The Real Unofficial Battleground Page - For computer wargamers, TalonSoft's Battleground series is one of  the best there is.  Here is Battleground lead designer/programmer John Tiller's support site.  Check it out; I've had the pleasure of testing several of the Battleground American Civil War games (as well as their East Front game) for TalonSoft.  Note that Tiller has done a 32-bit engine for many of the Battleground titles which you can download there.
