I would imagine all of you are familiar with the story about Little Red Riding Hood, at least the story that has been told for ages.  You know, the one about how the Big Bad Wolf came into Grandma's house, gobbled her up, dressed in her clothes and waited for Little Red to show up so he could gobble her up also.

Well, I am here to set the story straight! People have been maligning the wolf long enough!

I ask you, does this look like a "bad" wolf?

Or this?

Both of these guys are nice, clean cut guys, dressed in shirt and tie, and a nice blue suit!  How could anyone mistake them for a "Big Bad Wolf"?

Now on the other hand, everyone has been depicting Little Red as a nice, sweet little girl that is doing nothing wrong and is taking a short cut through the woods to see her kind and sweet old Grandma!

Actually, "Little Red Riding Hood" was not little at all!  She was a Vamp!

And, she only used the hood and cape to cover everything up!  Furthermore, kind and sweet ol' granny wasn't kind and sweet at all!  She was a rich, mean-hearted old woman who mistreated Red and Red had been trying to figure out how she could get rid of her and inherit her money.

Now, here is the REAL story.

Red is walking through the woods and meets this nice wolf.

She uses all her wiles as she tries to make the wolf think she is frightened! (Look, the nice wolf is even holding his hand, excuse me, his paw out to her!)  Well, before long she has the wolf totally mesmerized even to the point that he sits down in the forest and reads to her!

Now she has him in the palm of her hand! She tells him of her wicked old granny who is home lying in bed,

(I don't blame Red; if I had a Grandma like this one, I would want her out of the way also!)

and convinces him to go there and eat granny up!  The wolf is not to blame; he was totally under Red's spell!

So, the wolf proceeds to Grandma's house and gobbles her up, still under Red's spell, mind you!  About this time a handsome young woodsman (who has had his eye on Red for some time) comes by and, seeing what has happened, he kills the "poor mesmerized" wolf with his axe.

Red is extremely happy with the events and gets her clutches on the handsome woodsman and mesmerizes him! Then they go to town to report what has happened to the high sheriff who congratulates the handsome woodsman and hails him as a hero and proclaims such to the town!  After a few days Red inherits all of Granny's riches and she immediately drops the handsome woodsman and takes off for Las Vegas!

Now, here is what has just transpired: the poor, innocent wolf is murdered and the murderer gets off Scott free.  The murderer however, who thinks he will get the girl and all the money, is dropped quick as a wink!  The instigator of all this, Red, gets rid of her Grandma, gets all the money,  drops the handsome woodsman, and heads out for Vegas.  This sounds almost like some of the stories in today's headlines!!!

And another thing; don't believe that story about the Three Little Pigs either!

They were friends with the wolf; I have proof, see?

He even lived with them in his old age:
