First, a note about what is not found in the game world. This is an alternative earth, but it is still recognisable as our world; though there are countless rumours of creatures such as Avalon's Sidhe, Norse dragons and dwarves, German kobolds, Transylvanian vampires, and other mythical beasts, none have ever been found or discovered by anything resembling a mainstream, reputable source. No character will be an elf, a dwarf, or anything strange like that - human strangeness only.

That said, it is a world where technology and magic interact, as can be found in countless roleplaying concepts and science fiction books. This has created a world with old-world values and new-world technology, where a knight will use a power sword in battle not because it is the most effective tool, but because he believes in chivalry and honour more than expediency.
