Railroad in PA

Later, I received a G Gauge starter set (LGB) from my wife as an anniversary gift.

We started building the layout as it

appears today.  In size, if not, form.

 

We began getting new members to the club.

As we got new members, we added their initials to the MF&W name.

 

The name of the railroad is now:

 

JGBSMF&W Railroad

Janine, George, Bart, Steve, Mike, Fred, Wayne & Rhonda (my wife)

Since we were originally interested in the DM&IR logo, we designed our

Logo to mimic the DM&IR’s.

 

Most notably the green border with the lettering around it. Instead of a red circle, we decided on a keystone, being that the railroad is in Pennsylvania, in order that someone wouldn't look at the “Tuscan Red” keystone & think PRR, we turned

the keystone upside down.

 

Further, Our Slogan is:

We’ll haul anything, even trash!

This is represented in our Logo with the Green Dumpster inside the keystone.

Written on the dumpster is the acronym “FUBAH”
