SPRING FLING SPECIAL
April 17th–May 17th
Last year this was the best deal…so we brought it back. No need to haul your trailer back and forth for the entire month! Camp Friday and Saturday night and leave your trailer on site for the week. All of this for the fantastic price of $400.00!

FISHERMAN’S WEEKEND
April 17th–19th
It’s that time of year again when the CT DEP stocks the river and fishing season begins. Join us Saturday morning for a Fisherman’s Breakfast in the lounge. Enter your biggest fish into the Fishing Derby by 3 PM. Prizes awarded.

MOTHER’S DAY WEEKEND
May 8th–10th
There will be a Mother’s Day Bingo held at 7:00 Saturday night in the lounge. Sunday morning we will have a Mother’s Day Buffet. Moms eat for free…everyone else for a nominal fee.

MEMORIAL DAY WEEKEND
Saturday May 23rd
To start the weekend off we will have the Water Wagon/Hay Ride (Temp dependent). Adult Bingo will be held in the lounge starting at 3:00 PM. From 8:00–11:00 PM, there will be a Dance under the pavilion.

Sunday May 24th
At 11:00 AM there will be a Horseshoe Tournament up in the far field, make sure to bring a cold beverage of your choice to enter. Kids Candy Bar Bingo at 2:00 in the lounge. $Horse Racing$ Riverdale Downs’ opens the 2009 season. Come down and cheer on your favorite horse. Gates open at 8:00 PM under the pavilion. *Volunteers are needed to run this event*

FATHER’S DAY WEEKEND
June 19th–21st
Fishing Derby going on all day Saturday. Bring your largest fish to the office by 4 PM to see if yours makes the grade. There will be a Horseshoe Tournament in the far field at 1:00 PM on Saturday. Hey Dads, don’t forget to join us on Sunday morning to get your complimentary Father’s Day breakfast while all others pay a nominal fee.

JULY 4TH WEEKEND
Friday July 3rd
Arts and Crafts class will open up this weekend at 10:00 AM. Get ready to take your tour-of-duty in the Water Wagon at 1:00 PM. Load up your water cannons and board the wagon in front of the Rec Hall. At 8:00 PM, there will be a Dance under the pavilion.

Saturday July 4th
$Adult Bingo$ in the lounge at 3:00 PM. $Horseracing$ begins at 8:00 PM under the lights of the pavilion. *Volunteers are needed in order to run this event*

TRIVIA NIGHT
July 10th–12th
Start the afternoon off with a wet dose of the Water Wagon at 1:00. In the evening, we will have Trivia Night. Get your team together and come on down to the lounge. It all starts at 7:00 PM. Prizes awarded.

KID OLYMPICS
July 17th–19th
Back after a brief sabbatical is Kid Olympics. All the fun starts Saturday morning at 9:00 and ends late afternoon (Events, Rules and Times will be posted). Award Ceremony at 7:30 with a Dance to follow.

ANNUAL HORSESHOE TOURNAMENT
July 24th–26th
We had some dead ringers come for this event last year…let’s see if we can repeat. Trophy Tournament begins at 10:30 AM in the far field (18 and up). For the kids we will have a special Candy Bar Bingo starting at 2:00 PM in the lounge. There will be a Dance under the pavilion at 8 PM.

BENEFIT DINNER
July 31st–August 2nd
This year we will be honoring someone very near and dear to us. Let our master chefs do the cooking for you and enjoy a wonderful Steak and Chicken Dinner. Please make sure to come and enjoy a great dinner along with a friendly atmosphere and help donate to a worthy cause while all of the proceeds go to help Kidney Cancer Research.

OUTDOOR MOVIE NIGHT
August 7th–9th
Join us under the stars for our feature presentation. Don’t forget to bring your popcorn, candy and beverage of choice. Movie title and show time to be posted.

GAME SHOW
August 14th–16th
Riverdale’s twist on a game show yet to be determined. In the past we have done Family Feud and the Not-So-Newlywed Game. No matter what game show we decide to do we guarantee a fun time. Starts at 7:00 PM under the pavilion.

BONFIRE & CORN ROAST
August 21st–23rd
This was such a success that we had to bring it back. Join us and your fellow campers Saturday evening at 7:00 PM down at the pavilion for a great time.

HALLOWEEN WEEKEND
August 28th–30th
This weekend is always a favorite here at Riverdale. Decorate your sites and put on your costumes because Trick or Treating starts at 5:00 PM, with a Costume Parade to follow at 7:00 PM under the pavilion. A Halloween- themed Dance will begin under the pavilion at 8:00 PM.

LABOR DAY WEEKEND & CHILI COOK-OFF
Saturday September 5th
We will start the weekend with some great fun for all ages. Starting at 11AM and ending at 3:00 PM we will be having Inflatables. $Adult Bingo$ will begin at 3:00 PM in the lounge and to finish the day off we will have a Dance under the pavilion starting at 8:00.

Sunday September 6th
Our Country Fair will start at 10:00 AM and run throughout the day. Food, Fun, Games and good times are expected so make sure to reserve your table on the sign-up sheet in the office.
The Chili Cook-off and judging will happen at NOON under the pavilion so make sure to bring your entry. Trophies will be awarded for this fiery good time. $Horse Racing$ under the lights of the pavilion starting at 8:00 PM. *Volunteers are needed in order to run this event*

FALL FEST SPECIAL
Sept 7th–Oct 4th

SEASONAL BINGO
Saturday September 12th
Last year we had a good turnout but we want to see a bigger turnout this time around. All winnings will be applied to your 2010 camping season. Winning amounts will depend on your participation. *This event is for seasonal campers only*

COLUMBUS DAY WEEKEND
Saturday October 10th
There will be a Pumpkin Carving Contest so make sure to pick out your pumpkins at 11:00 AM, carve them, and then return them to the lounge between 4:30–5:30 PM. Judging and a candle-lit viewing to follow. There will be a Dance under the pavilion from 7:00–10:00 PM. Contest winners to be announced at the dance at 7:30.

Sunday October 11th
Time to unwind and enjoy the cool fall weather. Starting at 8:00 PM we will have $Adult Bingo$ in the lounge.
