After eight years Master Mark must
move on, as I have always said, “nothing stays the same, everything changes”. I
cannot in good faith continue with Taekwondo being part-time. I tried it last
year and having any Martial Art once a week or once a quarter doesn’t benefit
the children. Yes there are many other reasons but that is now the past.
Midtown was always an arts based
school, it’s now resembles more of a cookie cutter city school, in my opinion
it lost its special identity.

I have a new position at Baltimore
Lab, a division of The Lab School of Washington. I continue to teach Taekwondo
there, all Midtown student past, present and future are welcome.

Parents and Teachers
Fight for your beliefs, know what is
right and what is wrong, watch out for the smoke and mirrors. And you do have
the right to have individual thoughts and ideas and voice them. Nobody can take
that from you unless you let them.
Sometimes a ship goes off course and gets lost and by the grace of God finds
its way home. Your children have brought joy to my life and I will miss them.
