Parker Fountain Pens - the Ultimate Writing Instruments

The Parker Pen Company made several inovations in fountain pens over the last 100+ years

1894 - Parker patents the Lucky Curve ink feed system which drained the ink back into the reservoir by capillary action.

1916 - The button filler mechanism is introduced, and the 'washer' pocket clip is patented.

1922 - The Duofold (enough said!)

1933 - Parker's improved see-through sac-less filling mechanism was released under the name 'Vacumatic'.

1941 - The now famous Parker 51 was introduced commemorating Parker's 51st anniversary.

1954 - The first Jotter ball pen was introduced and still is the #1 non-disposable ball point pen.

1960 - The first pre-filled, push-fit fountain pen refill cartridges first appeared in the Parker 45.

1964 - The first Parker 75 was introduced. Nearly perfect.
